Avoid Blood Thinners: Stop using blood thinners (e.g., aspirin, ibuprofen, alcohol) at least 48 hours before to reduce bleeding.
Chemical and laser peels should be avoided for at least 2 weeks before the procedure.
Botox, Retin-A, AHA products and retinoids should be avoided for 1 weeks prior to the procedure.
Avoid Caffeine and Alcohol: Stay away from caffeine and alcohol 24 hours before to minimize sensitivity and bleeding.
Stay Hydrated: Keep your skin moisturized in the days leading up to your appointment (avoid heavy oils or creams right before).
Consult with Your Technician: Share any skin concerns or medical conditions with your technician before the procedure.
By following these steps, you ensure the best results and smooth healing.
Avoid Touching, Scratching, or pick at your eyebrows as this will likely cause the pigment to disappear with the scab.
Apply the recommended ointment or aftercare balm to keep the area hydrated and promote healing.
Avoid exercising vigorously to prevent sweating and excessive oil secretion for at least 7-10 days.
Avoid sun exposure, which can cause increased pigmentation and discoloration of the eyebrows.
Avoid Swimming in pools and Saunas: For the first week, avoid getting your eyebrows wet in the shower, pool, or hot tubs. Also, avoid steam rooms and saunas.
Don’t Apply Makeup: Avoid using makeup on your eyebrows until fully healed (usually 7-10 days).
Be Patient During Healing: You may experience some flaking or scabbing, but don’t pick at it. This is part of the healing process, and the color may appear lighter initially but will darken over time.
